Hanging of the greens

Hanging of the Greens will take place starting at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 22 throughout Annapolis. During this event the Jaycees of Annapolis decorate storefronts of downtown businesses with lighted garland and wreaths for the holiday. Holiday bazaar

Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will host its annual holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 22 at the church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park.

This event features over 15 booths selling holiday merchandise ranging from homemade candy, decorations, interior furniture and decor, quilts, and books. The majority of the offerings are made and crafted by church members. Homemade soups, pies and other foods will be sold for lunch. Santa and his elves will make an appearance, with picture time available. There will also be kids shop for children to do their Christmas shopping.

The bazaar is free and open to the public. All proceeds from the sale will support local and overseas mission projects the Presbyterian Women of Woods support.

Holiday craft bazaar

Friendship United Methodist Church, 22 W. Friendship Road, will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 22. There will be a bake table and lunch will be available. Table rentals are $20. Holiday grief support

Compass Regional Hospice—formerly Hospice of Queen Anne's—will host "Hope and Healing for the Holidays" from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 22 at 255 Comet Drive in Centreville. This workshop offers conversation and creative activities designed to help those grieving the loss of a loved one during the holiday season. The workshop begins with a light breakfast and includes art projects and opportunities to talk about how to remember loves ones while facing the grief that accompanies their memory.

The workshop fee is $10 and is open to anyone 18 years and older.

One-stop holiday shop

A one-stop holiday shop will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 22 at Earleigh Heights Volunteer Fire Company, 161 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Vendors and crafters will be offering cash and carry items as well as taking orders for delivery in time for Christmas. There will also be food, door prizes and a raffle to benefit the Anne Arundel County Holiday Share program.

Holiday craft show

A holiday craft show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23 at Elks Lodge No. 622, 2 Pythian Drive in Edgewater. There will be over 30 crafters and an appearance from Santa at 1 p.m.

Admission is free and the proceeds from vendor space rentals will be donated to Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Clinic.
