Jaycees' Angel's Night is Thursday - Hometownlife.com
The annual Angel’s Night on Six Mile Road, hosted by the Redford Jaycees, is 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30.
The event was started through the Six Mile Association to provide a safe, fun night of Trick or Treating for local Redford youth.
Six Mile will be closed from 5-8 p.m. from Beech Daly to Kinloch and children ages 12 and under will have the opportunity to participate in costume contests, Halloween games, and Trick or Treating at local businesses along Six Mile.
On-site registration for the event will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Halloween games will kick off the night beginning at 5:45 p.m. and the costume contest will follow at 6 p.m. There will be multiple categories for the costume contest including Scariest, Cutest and Overall Best costumes. All winners will receive a prize.
Finally, Trick or Treating will begin at 6:30 p.m.
This is a free event, but food will be available for purchase at the Smoke Ring BBQ food truck. See www.smokeringdet.com[1] for menus and pricing.
Last year, the Jaycees had more than 1,500 participants at Angel’s Night event.
